360 hard drives compatible all regions?

Well its started to happen I need something so I wants it now lol. Ive been wanting Raiden fighters aces for awhile now and after just seeing raiden IV on teh youtube I have no choice, I need a JPN 360 so decided Im going to order one in a couple of weeks.

So was just wondering as I have a spare 20gig 360 HDD laying around on my PAL model if anyone knows if their compatible per region?

It'll work fine. There's no region locking (I share my PAL 360's hdd with my US 360).

IS their any difference between a Asian 360 and JPN model (what I mean is are they the same region ie JPN)?

And again anyone know best place to get one from?

I seem to remember that Japanese machines are compatible with all Asian games, but there are a select few Japanese games incompatible with Asian machines.
