question about oulook

at work we have office 2007, the same as which i use. On our version of outlook, when we receive a new email, a small bubble appears in the bottom right hand corner (where the clock is) saying "new email rec'd from xxxxx etc, etc.....) along with a small sound. how do i get my version of outlook to do this, ive tried comparing settings, but obviously being a work computer, its all locked out via admin etc.!

Quite simple really.

With Outlook open.

Tools > Options > E-mail Options > Advanced E-Mail Options

What you're looking for is under 'When new items arrive in my Inbox'.
