why are shops charging so much for PS2 HDD??

I looked at Sonys offcial JAP site and the conversion puts the unit at....

1 JPY = 0.00540189 GBP 1 GBP = 185.120 JPY



Am I missing something here????


I know its a import but even then youd think the max would be ?100 but I cant see it anywhere for sale apart from some JAP companines and they want nearer ?200 for it.

I agree with you it is too expensive, but do you really need the hard disk for PS2.

I don't know any reason to get one apart, nice new moonlight blue PS2 with ethernet/progressive scan support and hard disk in it.

I looked at Moonlight blue PS2 with ethernet and hard disk and it cost about ?189. I fancy getting one in about 5 weeks time

Is it possible to buy this, moonlight blue memory card and another controller for under 235 pounds and get it shipped to England without Duty as Play-asia.com is too high.
