Formatting hard drive

My PC is affected with spyware and is a bit bloated. How do I format my PC 100% (Windows Vista 64 bits)

then I can make it more suitable in partition size.

I tried it several months ago and it wouldn't let me format C:\ drive.

It is easy to do in old system but not new system.

I got access to two PC and PS3 if this is any use.

First, backup all your important data, then reboot your computer and while it's doing the POST (checking RAM and HDDs) press del on the numpad to enter the BIOS. There change the boot sequence to have the system boot from CD first, save and exit the changes and reboot your PC again: be sure to have the Windows CD in your CD/DVD unit and follow the onscreen instructions to format your HDD and reinstall Windows.

Thank for it, I managed to fix the problem by using AVG Anti virus 8.0 I will not uninstall it this time.

Can do my PC after next week as I got three week off.
