I tried to set up Windows Media Centre to connect with my 360 recently. It didn't work, but that's beside the point. What's bugging me is, it seems to be running constantly in the background and I don't know how to switch it off. I keep getting notifications from my firewall that Media Centre Store Update (or similar) is trying to access the internet for example. Aside from the performance issues it's annoying me when I'm trying to watch stuff
I had a quick look in the Services menu (Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services) but can't work out which, if any, is the relevant one to switch off.
Any ideas how I can put this to bed?
