Animal Crossing or Mario Golf? Quick Vote

I fancy ordering a game this afternoon, but can't decide which to get.

Have wanted Animal Crossing for a while now, but like the look of Mario Golf especially for multiplayer laughs...

Thoughts?

I bought Mario Golf the other day and can't really get into it for some reason. The N64 version was one of my favourite games ever though, I think I'm too used to Tiger Woods now.

Animal Crossing will take over your life and you'll play it every day for at least the next 2 months. One player at a time though.

I'd plump for AC if you haven't played it before.

or get MG if you have.

Its true AC really takes over your life. I spent far too much time doing the same chores daily without fail. I think i enjoyed the game for a while but then it became a daily ritual which was giving me no pleasure at all. If you are a compulsive completest you will be playing it for months. I dont think i would want to play it again thats for sure.

Mario Golf i'm yet to play but if it is like the N64 version it has to be worth a go.

Mario Golf is superb and a worthy addition to any cube owners collection.

However, AC is the best game Nintendo have made for years and the best game on the Cube by an absolute mile.

I bought AC around Novemeber time last year and am still loving it now.
