    Any opinions? any advice where to buy? what's the quality of the screen like? how's the vcd playback?

    Yep, got mine from www.otaku.com.hk fora good price, about ?125 I think.

    VCD / SVCDis decent for what it is, not as good as my DVD player. The screen is of similar quality to the add on screens for PSone and the like.

    Machine is totally region free which is a bonus as well ...
