Region setting for Windows PC

I'm living outside of the UK at the moment but would love to be able to see BBC UK only broadcasts etc. Is it possible to work around this? I have looked and had a go at doing such things like proxy servers. Is there a simple way of doing it?

Chances are most places will check your location from your IP address, not a region code. Unfortunately the only way you will get around this is to use a UK based proxy server.

Should be pretty simple, but I don't use them so I can't swear to that. There is a simple guide here on how to configure your browser: http://whatismyipaddress.com/staticp...a-proxy-server That should work ok, but you'll have to find a UK based proxy. I don't know which are good and which are not unfortunately, but a search on google should give you some more info.
