best way to play imports on a pal ps2

Yes, i'm asking this despite subscribing to this site for over 5 years

Any suggestions guys?

I'm trying to stray away from modding the console as its seems increassingly difficult to acquire the chips these days.

I figure its either swap magic or perhaps that memor 32 device.

any advice would be great

probably hd loader or something using indepedence memory card exploit as you can run all regions fine on a pal console then.

I'd recommend the swap magic boot discs, they have always worked perfectly for me.

get a chipped ps2 - they come up all the time. stick your game in the tray and the game loads - no nasty swaping/fiddling about

Memor 32 is easier from what I can gather. As long as the memory card is in the slot, you put in any disc you want and it runs. At least this is what I have been led to believe. Sounds great. It might even work on EE enabled PS3's too.
