Depending how many devices you have that use the net this could be a problem to track, ie 360 / pc / ps3 etc. Does your modem not have logs?

not sure about the logs..(didn't know they kept logs actually)

how do you check this? its a netgear router (sky)

i use my PS3, but only connect for updates, use it mainly for movies.
and Wii again for update, but occasional mario kart races.

      so its mainly PC usage.

The logs on those might tell you where you've been or who's tried to connect to you, but I'll be amazed if you get any usage stats from them.

Don't you have an online dashboard that you can go to and check where you currently sit with your usage? I know I had the option when I was on a limited contract with Nildram.

There are programs out there that will tell you how much traffic goes into/out of your computers network interface, but they're only useful if that's the ONLY traffic going through that interface. If for example you transfer data between machines internally, any of those programs are going to be useless.

I have a Belkin N1 Vision router that shows you how much bandwidth each device is using/has used which would do what you want. Just a shame its a terrible router.

Your router should tell you, but it depends on how detailed you want the info as it can vary from device to device. Log on to your routers web interface and you will find the option to see the log files there.

You could try this software as well. It may or may not be what your looking for but its probably worth a look.
