Xbox 360 Audio into PC speakers adaptor

just wondering if anyone knows the name of the cable/adaptor that lets you plug the Red/White audio cables from a games console in one end and a standard speaker input into the other end. As I need one to get sound when playing the Xbox 360 on my monitor.

I used to have one but it disappeared and I can't order another until I know what it's called

I got the bits from Maplin, not sure what they're called, but you need a two AV input to single male 3.5mm adaptor then a female to female 3.5mm adaptor, about three or four quid for the pair.

I think you are after a mini Y cable. Female phonos on one end and a headphone style 3.5mm jack on the other end.

I got one off ebay for about 99p, just search "rca 3.5mm converter" or similar.

Got basically the same cable as linked in CMcK's post on ebay and a female-female converter. Cheers guys.

The cable I had originally did it all was a basic Y cable like the one in the link but had female inputs all round which is what i need
