So I just bought a new 360 after my old one died and I'm wondering what options do I have to transfer the saves from my old HDD to the new one (new one is 60, old one 20 so I'd like to use the new one). I thought about using a memory card but those things are really expensive. Are there any other ways to do it? I tried a USB flash stick but it didn't give me the option to copy to that.

Apparently the data transfer kit that became available for the Elite model doesn't recognise the 60GB HDD, so an official Memory Unit is probably the only option you have.
Datel's XSATA thing is another possibility, but that's more expensive than a MU. -
Some Saves won't allow you to copy them off the drive as well. Which is really fecking helpfullComment
