streaming music/pictures from laptop to PS3

OK, so i have done everything i can think of and nothing works. I'm running Vista on my laptop, and from wmp there is meant to be an option for media sharing. That is no where to be seen.

I'm trying to do this wireless. Any ideas?

I've never bothered setting up a streaming app via DNLA, I just stream everything over HTTP using a webserver, works well for video, music too I'd imagine, and I'd just download it from the server if I wanted to not stream it.

The Ps3 should pick the laptop up automatically. I found the PS3 far less hassle to stream to than the 360 which seemed to take an age to set-up.
You need to select 'media sharing' under the 'library' option and select what devices to share to. My Ps3 comes up with an odd name, just a bunch of numbers, then share to that device.
Make sure your firewall is either off or has an exception set for the console.

Or just download and set-up this, it's what I use.
