PSP doesn't as the PSU is multi-voltage (100-240v) but I'd imagine DSi does as the DS/DS Lite PSUs aren't multi-voltage

A USB charging cable was the best option for me with the DS Lite.

Yeah, that's a good idea.
Also, you could get a cheap usb charger (probably a multi-voltage one. My official iPod usb charger is, and it uses a figure-8 connector so you could just use any figure-8 cable with it if need be).
