Wrath of the Lich King CE

Ok, just thought I'd throw this open and see where I stand with it:

Basically I've just unwrapped my copy and it turns out that in place of the game disk, I've actually gotten a second behind the scenes DVD.

Do I go into GAME and ask them to swap it, or do I need to send it off back from where it came?

    Cheers.

Somehow doubt GAME would entertain you.
I reckon you can just borrow a friend's disk, using your own activation code of course, then contact good ol' Blizzard in slow time.

Edit- Basing this on the fact the activation key is on a wee sticker in the box, not on the actual DVD disk, like wot my 'standard' edition is.

Well, there's no sticker in the box, so I'm assuming the CD key is in the game case itself.

This **** could only happen to me though, my luck is so damn rubbish.

Edit: I probably should have made clear the fact that I received 2 behind the scenes cases as opposed to 1 behind the scenes case and 1 game case, therefore there is no sign of a CD key.

I'd take it back to GAME first mate, your 'deal' is with them and so they should replace it for you (Not sure how easy that's going to be, considering it's the CE) - they're also likely to be quicker than going through Blizzard.

If you get no joy then go to Blizzard I guess. Might also be worth checking some other forums where WoW is a bit more popular, because I can't imagine you're an isolated incident.

Indeed, the key is in the inside of the DVD case. As you don't have a key, and as that key will be what entitles you to the CE bonuses it's pants. Your chances of GAME actually having a CE they can give you, or rob the DVD case from it for you are slim.

Don't let GAME fob you off with replacing the DVD case with one from a 'standard' box.

          Good luck

Well if they won't replace it, I'll just send it back to them for a refund which I was originally planning to do anyway since I have another copy sat here from shopto.
