PS2 Flip Top play PS imports?

Just got my PS2 modded with the flip top case today but I've no idea if it will play import PSone games or not. Anyone able to find out for me?

Only with an Action Replay disc to swap with.

Find yourself an action replay or something like that for the PSOne. Shouldn't be too expensive or anything. The important thing is that it boots the PS2 in PSOne mode, so to speak. Then when you're entering codes (or just choosing to play without codes), swap the discs using the flip top - disc should have stopped spinning - and it ought to work a treat.

By the way, NTSC PSOne games on a PAL PS2 will have the ol' screen misplacement problem where you have a huge black border at the bottom. Unsightly, I know, but there's not a whole lot of choice for us v1-4 PS2 owners who are importing on the cheap, eh?
