Virtua Stick High Grade Question?

Hello, is it true that the PS3 VSHG only works with ps3 games? I have an Jpn EE PS3 and id like to use it with PS1/2 games too.

Don't think so, a firmware update fixed this yonks ago

Cool thanks i was hunting around for one under one bazziollion dollars (like everyone else) and www.gamechoiceclub.com said they were ps3 only. Btw they^ are out of stock.

They worked for PS2, then a software update ruined it, then it came back, so yes they do.

No-one wants to get rid of theirs for a sane price because of SF4 soon and HD Remix

Also there were problems with some sticks and a recall. An engraved M means you are fine, but an "S" needs to be accompanied with a sticker on the box.

I have one of these and it's been perfect for VF5 and SC4.

I think it will be perfect for Street Fighter and can highly recommend it. I nearly sold a few months back, but it's such a class item I'm very glad I didn't!

This is incorrect. Either an "M" or an "S" means it's been checked, and is fine. The box would be re-stickered with either letter.

The 1.70 update allowed for VSHG with any format PS game, then 1.80 took it away. 2.0 added it back and it's been that way ever since.

I've been offered £100+ for my second VSHG, so if you do manage to find one expect to pay out heavily.

Having tried every available PS3 stick thus far, I still think teh VSHG is the best one available.

I see thanks. Cheapest i could find brand new was almost ?200 and half that used. Probably wait for someone to sell one here for 'sensible' money and try and snag that before tha rest of yaz

Since word of SSF2X HD and SF4, they've become fabled items like the PS2 Saturn pads. I've seen them go for as low as £40 prior to these games being announced, but now they're worth serious bucks. To think they were only £45 new too.

Buy a HRAP 3 and swap the buttons. Same thing. Doesn't break your legs either.
