On a serious note I`ve always wanted to go to Japan. Not just for the games etc but for the history and culture.

Its late now, tired, jetlag, .... going to take a bath!

So you can see that some of these were really good deals, I already have games like Virtua Cop (european version) but for 150 yen I really didn't want to argue, I almost felt guilty!

I mean that 150 is quite expensive by Japanese standards, I have a copy of VF2 with a 48 Yen Sticker on it. I know a friend who has one with a Y5 sticker on it....

150 didn't seem expensive by japanese standards when new games cost around 4000 JPY, 75 or 150, doesn't make much difference.. its both very, very little money.

In belgium where I live, I used to pay up to 150 dollar to import games.

How long did you spend shopping? How on earth did you get all that stuff back to the uk?

I'm beginning to think with the amount of crap^H^H^H^Hgames I buy it would be cheaper to go to Japan once a year to get them...

I'm lucky that Customs didn't stop me, yeah.

I had to make some quick decisions in the airport, because they said my suitcase weighed too much!

On the subject of customs...

If you are only bringing back opened or 2nd hand games how can they prove that you didn't take them out with you in the first place, thus negating the need to pay import duty + vat on the way back in.
