2 friends on MM3 cant see or hear each other

Couple of quick questions - are they both using the same version? PAL/US (Should be okay, but might be incompatible for some reason).

What are you doing? Lan play? Xbox Live play?

both uk versions of the game

both xbox live - it only happens with this one friend

Could be blocked ports on the pc (firewall) or router. I dont know too much about Live but it could use different ports for the speech/sound, which would mean you'd have to find out which ports need to be enabled.

Edit:

• UDP 88
• UDP 3074
• TCP 3074

Those are the ports Microsoft say are needed.
