    Hi All

Sorry if these questions have been answered before.

I?m looking to buy a Pre -Modded American Wii but the main concern is my TV is about 3-4 years old and may not be any use for NTSC with the American Wii.
Here is some technical info below on it and it says it supports NTSC video playback
Could somebody please tell me if any of those connections will work with the American Wii?

Also would I be able to go online here and play my British mates with the American Wii or will it connect onto an American site or does it go by game regions?

Is it worth the hassle buying an American console or is it best to go for a Pal Console

    Thanks

buy a uk wii and install the homebrew channel, then you could set the region to US or back again if you wanted to, instuctions can be found on this site.

That TV is fine for NTSC... in fact I think just about all LCDs now are.

If you use component cables (which you really ought to, as they give the best picture possible from a Wii), then I don't think it matters. But the spec above says the tuner does NTSC so it should be fine.

OK thanks for your replies. I like the idea of maybe getting a pal Wii and installing the home brew channel. Can someone direct me in the right direction on some advice on this. Thanks again
