    Phase on subwoofer?

0? or 180?. What does it do? What should I be listening for to tell the difference?

I thought it was used when you had more than one sub but not sure about that.

Its in the manual I'd imagine, it needs to be the opposite of your surrounds (not that they have a setting), if your sub/surrounds are cancelling each other out and you're getting no Bass, change it to the other setting.

This is what my manual says anything, just try it on both!

Set it to whichever sounds better - sometimes reversing the phase (180) can make the bass a little fuller, but it depends in your speakers/amp set up/room & so on.

I think it just says that. "Try them both".

What does it do in terms of electronics/driver movement?

            ?

I think regarding driver movement, when your satellite woofers are out, the sub should be too. .christ I dunno its too complex. I think the people in that thread have more of a clue. Basically tweak it and see what it does, if it does nothing, then stop worrying about it

They do say it is the last thing you should tweak and most people expect to hear a marked difference between the two settings, but actually don't .. sooo

Aces. I remembered that on one of my DnB samplers, there's a 4 minute 33Hz track.

Not a lot going on at 0°, but at 180° anything not nailed down was trying to leave the building.

0 if the sub sits between the front to speakers (ie in the front sound stage)
180 if it sits outwith the front 2 speakers ((ie not in the front sound stage)

                erm i think.....

i have mine at 0, as it sits between my (L & R) front speakers.
                and it sounds fine....

Interesting. Mine is off to the left outside and sounds good on 180.

                  I love this forum.
