Possible to play import PS2 titles on BC PS3?

Merry christmas lords and ladies,
Quick question which may have already been answered. I have a fully BC U.S 60gb PS2 and was wondering if there is any method (which doesn't involve opening up my console) to run japanese Ps2 titles? As I still have a few discs I'd like to play, mainly the Sega titles like die hard, sega rally etc. Can swap magic or somehing like that be used? I'm not interested in running backups or hinting at playing pirate stuff just jap originals...ta

None whatsoever I'm afraid. I know there were some vids online about 2 years ago of people using Swap Magic by having the console constantly open (in order to swap the discs), but I've never wanted to do that. I feel the pain, because I use the hardware BC on my US PS3 all the time, and it's annoying I can't use my select few Japanese titles.

I would like to have this option as well, but I just stick with my modded ps2.
