My new gaming pc build (cheap > mid-price)?

Hello all

I've decided I want to build myself another desktop pc after my other one gave up the ghost. Basically I want it to be as cheap as possible but still be able to play some of the latest games without it all chugging along. I'm a bit out of touch with the latest technology etc so I was wondering what some of you clever bods thought of this costing so far...

Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3L iP35 Socket 775 8 channel audio ATX Motherboard

+ case, leads etc. Already got a copy of Windows XP which I will use.

All of that lot (With a standard dvd-rom etc.) comes to ?332. Is this a decent enough set up do you think? I have chosen the processor with overclocking in mind by the way.

I'd spend a bit more on the graphics card really, that card's a bit of a bottleneck.

Best performance : price under £100

PSU is a bit of a gamble but I've not read any nightmare reports about that brand so it shouldn't fry your system. Should cope with the graphics card.

Other than that a reasonable setup, may possibly be able to get a Motherboard around £10 cheaper than what you have to balance out the graphics card a bit but check reviews of it beforehand to make sure it'll overclock to the extent you want.

Thanks a lot mate for the help. I'm still tweaking things around but nearly got a quote im happy with. Only problem is bloody ebuyer wont ship to anywhere other than your billing address which is a huge problem for me grrr. I need to think of a solution!

I'd change the PSU aswell, that cheap no-name unit isn't worth the risk (especially if you plan to overclock, as you say). There are some better ones on there, but if it was me I'd go for something like:
