Old Kenwood Separate's: Is it worth anything?

Is anyone clued up and could tell me how much my old amp, cd,tape deck etc is worth on its own with no speakers.

Im upgrading and thinking of putting it on ebay but dont want to let it go for a bargain if its worth a few bob or two.

I can get pics and model number for the system if someone can help me out.

Its approx 10 yrs old from manufacture, way to big compared to todays stuff so as you guessed space is the reason Im selling it.

My Father in law has a old seperate kenwood stack system with vinyl & pro logic 1 and because he spent £1000 + on it still runs his dvd player and TV through it.

Last time I looked on ebay for a similar system they were going for between £50 and £10 quid.

I think most people want small and tidy with Ipod docks these days.

Having said that if it was flagship 10 years ago maybe its held its value better than most.

It cost me £1300 brand new and that was discounted because it was the display model. So rrp would have been about 1600 I believe.

It all still works and the speakers are about 4 feet tall with amazing sound which is why Im keeping the them .

If its as low as 50 quid I think I will give it to a charity shop .
