Want to add wireless to my network cheaply?

How do, right chaps im looking to add wireless to my network as cheap as poss for use with DS, Wii & maybe a laptop....

Currently i use a wired 4 port router, can i get a device that plugs into one of the router ports just a small wifi arial or somesuch, or do i need a full blown wireless access point (bit noobish here so bare with me!).

Might i be better off getting a wireless router to completely replace my set up? > Only looking to spend little over a tenner if possible, thanks dudes.

You could have had the free one someone was giving away here .

You'd be better off just replacing your wired router with one that does wifi too, I'm sure you could get one off ebay for about 10 or 15 quid, steer clear of *some* belkin ones as they just don't work with the DS.

Do you have ADSL or cable? is there a seperate modem already that your 4 port wired router is plugged into, or is it an all in one modem/router ?

Yeah we have cable with a seperate modem that feeds into the router.

cool, well you could get any wifi router still and just disable the router part, use it as a wifi access point like I do with one, or you can replace the whole thing with a single wifi router that'd do the routing as well as having four network ports, and wifi built in.

Or you could buy a wifi access point and just plug it in to the wired switch you have now. or hub or whatever.

Theres loads on ebay for around £15 posted man, I'd avoid belkin as they seem to have problems with the DS and online, it just doesn't connect, but then thats only certain models. Apart from that take your pick, netgear seem to be ok with consoles.

I'm certain theres a list online of which works and which have issues with the DS actually, maybe on the nintendo WFC site.
