    Ok before I leave then...

iTunes to start going DRM free from today, and some lower priced tracks.

Oh and from today buy EVERYTHING on iTunes via iphone over 3G and Wi-Fi

Great news for iTunes ! Everything i buy is iTunes+, although, i had to upgrade one track ! Not a bag-fan of DRM, but i just prefer the higher quailty...

Other news a bit disappointing, no Mac-Mini update, that i can see. The 17" macbook pro is nice, but no removable battery. Bring back Steve Jobs..!

Gutted not to see a new Mac Mini.

Recently bought eASY aDDICT's old G4 Mini for my daughter and we both love it far more than we should.

My plan was to buy a new Intel Mini to replace my PC. I now have a dilemma - do I hope for an announcement in Spring/Summer and wait? Or do I bite the bullet and buy the old (but still current) Mini now?

The new mini will probably get it's own showing possibly with new iMacs as well. I'd imagine the third party software company that leaked info of a 1TB mini in it's press release yesterday would be the reason the mini wasn't shown today.

You can't buy everything, it's still just music. No video content is available via the iPhone.

Two new pricing tiers have also been introduced for iTunes songs, 69c and $1.29, to be used at the discretion of music studios.

A let down of a keynote, and I think it shows how much the 'Jobs factor' affects Apple. poor guy did his best but looked nervous, as you would be. No news about Snow Leopard, new design iMacs, new pods or the Mini! I guess we will have to wait until the spring or autumn for more.

I noticed this morning you don't need 3G to browse and purchase from the itunes store. I was doing it over GPRS this morning on my 1st gen iPhone.

+1 to the "Wanted a new Mac Mini" - my wife and I bought one of the first gen Intel Duo Core models when it came out and it's been doing a wonderful job as a media PC, but I was rather considering buying one for myself and replacing my windows desktop.
