    PSP Downgrade

    Hey all,

Just a quckie...I have a mate who has a 1003 Phat PSP running on 3.8 firmware is it possible to run custom firmware on this using a Pandora battery??

    Ta in advance

Yeah it is because my mate did it to my brothers PSP only yesterday. I don't know too much about actually doing it, though you can get apps that will pandora your machine stright up to 5.00 CFW.

It seemed a very easy process, simply matter of 'converting' the battery to a pandora one, and converting back. I should have paid more attention, never needed to do it myself.

Yes it'll be fine, I have the kit to do it too.

You really should hold out for a slim though, a phat is a total pain in the arse for some emulators such as CPS2, well its not that bad, but the slim absolutely kills it. (no cache files needed for CPS2 emulator due to double the RAM, far better screen and dpad, etc.)

        Kernow,

Ta for the info as well didnt realise the Slim was a better option for Emu's thought they were all the same really.

        Thanks again

Make sure you get an earlier model, as some of the later slims can't be pandora'd

(you really should have bought mine a couple months back it was super mint and £100 posted) , came with everything installed already too, hehe
