XCM Adapter [360 Pad on PS3]

This Saitek PS2700 Rumble Pad for the PS3 could be a good alternative to the standard controller:

The D-pad and left thumbstick unit can be rotated 180 degrees to make it how they are positioned on a 360 controller.

I'd seriously buy this if i knew the analogs were tight like the 360....

JP..are you using the XCM on Killzone? How you finding it bud?

Not given it a go yet, I tried it on the demo and it didn't really feel any better for me. I know some people have complained about the KZ2 controls but they seem fine for me.

As you can see here though, this may not really be an option for KZ2.

I bought one of these to use my 360 TE stick on PS3. I've stopped using it after noticing eratic behaviour such as getting stuck in one direction or failing to function apart from XMB access button.

Not sure if that will stay like that but the motion control seems really well integrated into the game so I wouldn't be surprised if you can't turn it off.

That means in this the XCM Cross Battle Adapter won't really be suitable for this game unless people want to pause and switch controllers when needed which I wouldn't really recommend.

That means that the only way to get it working 100% on this game is to go the home made route of having the DS3 guts inside a 360 controller shell as they've done here.

There's a site with details from a person that has made these. They used to make them to order and I think they charged something like ?200.
