    JPN/USA Nintendo DS Power SupplyAdaptor

    I checked Google and Yahoo! Answers but I couldn't find a 100% positive confirmation...

    I'm in Australia where electronic appliances run on 220v-240v (same as UK) and uses differently shaped plugs/sockets (similar to UK's except the top 2 plugs are slanted).

    Can Australian Nintendo DS power adaptors be used with Japanese/American Nintendo DSs without blowing it up? Note that this is the original model Nintendo DS, not DS Lite.

    Yes, it can. I used a EU adapter on a JPN DS.

      When looking at power adaptors in this respect, it is the output voltage you are concerned with not the input which is the same wordwide for GBS, DS and DS lite etc.
