    Good 37" Gaming LCD?

As the title suggests I'm after a decent 37" LCD. It is for my games room, as we already have a plasma downstairs for films and tv.

My budget is ?400-?500ish, but would consider a wee bit more if it's really worth it. Also I'm open to 40" suggestions, but no bigger than that as the games room isn't huge.

I will primarily be using my Xbox 360 and Wii on it, but I wouldn't rule out a PS3 purchase in the future. I'm really clueless when it comes to high def tv, and AV forums just confuses me, so any help from you lovely people will be very much appreciated!

I wouldnt be sure of exactly how good this tv is for gaming, but it is a Plasma and Panasonic. I seen this link on another forum and I think it's a pretty damn amazing bargain :

EDIT: Sorry just read you are after a LCD. D'oh

I've got that Panny plasma, same size too.

I'd say go for that over an lcd any day.

Edit - can't believe how cheap that is either. I paid £700 for mine (with pedestal) and I think it was well worth it.

That looks a nice set. I'm not adverse to getting another plasma, but I just had this idea that LCD would last longer when I'm using it for long gaming sessions.

As I said we do have the plasma downstairs which I get use of when I have folk over and when the missus is not around. What do you guys use for your gaming?

I use the panasonic for gaming as it's the only tv I've got. Works a treat - I don't think you'll have any problems with it as long as you go through the usual bedding in period.

I just prefer the picture from a plasma too, I find LCDs a little 'harsh'.

I use a PLASMA for gaming.

Its a 37in Panasonic and its a great picture. My mate has a 40in Smsung LCD and I think its a terrible image.

If it was me, id be looking at a Sony Bravia range or LCD and Panasonic for Plasma

Thats just IMO though, others will differ but my PS3, 360 and Wii all look great on the plasma but I do have some COD4 screen burn on it but I have played it for over 480 hrs online!

Has anyone used that linked site above? They have some seriously good prices...

*edit* just noticed why the prices are so good. Most of the stock is ex display or graded
