Not had this set long less than a week to be honest, and i have to say im very impressed with its fantastic tinted red look and superb blacks and amazing picture quality,specialy for Blurays and PS3/360 and more picture settings than you can shake a stick.

I was just wandering if anyone else has this set and would you post what settings you are useing with the tv for HD stuff and SD stuff as i cant make up my mind right now which is best for what.

Hey bro - had this TV a while back but swapped it for Plasma as old skool games didn't look right on LCD (got a Panasonic plasma instead). HD stuff is great on this TV I found some excellent and comprehensive settings for the Samsung here: http://www.hdtvtest.co.uk/Samsung-LE40A656/Settings.htm

Once you're done putting them in (it takes a while for each input lol!) just adjust the backlight according to your room lighting etc and you should be sound.
