Step down converter GBA and me.

Ok so I just got a step down converter for my JPN ps2 and I was wondering if all that extra voltage affects my GBASP, I don't use an adapter and I have the japanese one.

The adapter may support 240V, have you had a look? You can see quite clearly on a Jap GC PSU that it says "Input AC 100V"

Basically if you've already plugged it in & it hasn't blown up, it's ok.

I thought you were in the US of A?
Is the Jap PS2 not 120, why would you need a step down if you use 120 in the states anyway?

No the PS2 is 100v not 120. So it messes up the system. My import store guy Ray told me so. I checked the wattage and sure enough, he was right. Now its fine its not getting the extra voltage.

I just wonder if my SP will be ok. We have to same plugs, US and Japan but they have lower voltage.
