Wireless degradation?

Any reason my wireless might get worse?

I've happily streamed HD content to my 360 for ages (~2000Mb).
Now, content at the same bitrate starts having issues - pausing, sound dropping.

No other wireless stuff on in the house.

I switched to cable and it fixed.

WPA. 11g. Reliable 3com router.

Try changing the channel on the router's admin settings page.
I had a similar issue recently and that 'seems' to have done the trick.

Seems to have worked.

I think my neighbours got something computery put in last week, so I'm guessing it's wireless cross talk. Mine was still on channel 1.

Also worth remembering that old microwaves can blank out wireless. Routers use something like 500mWs, microwaves put out 800W. Doesn't have to leak much to interfere.
