.MOD converter ?

I need to convert some .mod files into something not completely ****e so that I can edit the film using premire pro, Anyone know of a good free program to do so ?

I've searched a bit and came up with two different file types that could be your .MOD format: audio-only file and a proprietary JVC video w/AC3 audio file. Apparently the last one is a standard MPEG2 .VOB file, any VOB-to-AVI application should be able to re-encode them.

Unless it's a .mod audio file, in which case you could get a plugin for Winamp to play it, using the Disk Writer plugin to output as .wav or .mp3 or whatever.
