nero 9

hi all
i just got nero 9 and am trying to work out how to use it compared to nero 7. it doesnt seem to allow me to burn files on to a dvd that are over say, 800mb??? on nero 7 u could just downgrade the quality of what you where burning for example a film or avi to fit the disc. can you do this on the new nero??? in fact i dnt seem to be able to burn to a dvd +r at all?? any ideas?

Nero Recode is what you need for resizing DVDs. Not sure how that works in nero9. I stopped at 7 because it started adding vast amounts of bloat that I will never use like the media server and media center-a-like front end (Home). In fact I uninstalled the lot and then reinstalled clicking only Burning Rom, Express and Recode.
