1920X1080 pixels well not so much scaling problems but as expected font and ICONs look a bit bit small wili i have no problems reading text- 40 inch screen ( note not all the font isn't blurry ) i was wondering what ways i can fix this ? note im on XP pro SP3 using a 640MB 8800 navida GTS card.

scaling problems at 1920X1080p HDMI /DVI windows XP

Remember TVs aren't designed to the same spec as monitors (distance viewing, viewing angle and size vs close viewing and clarity) so you won't get the same sharpness.
In the monitor settings in control panel you can set a custom colour profile (there are no doubt scores of applications around to help tune the colour levels in the display). The Nvidia tuning application should do it but I'm not sure.
Also check your TV is displaying in 1080p mode, it's possible it could be downsampling the signal.

im 200% clear on this , games look rellly relly good the desk top looks ultra shinny / but its also a bit small this is a briva im useing .............. regarless its depslying in 1080p.
