Finding a Jasper 360 Premium

Lets be clear here, some games ask every single time, but others ask once and then remember your preference.

Are you saying that yours is asking for games that would normally only ask once?

Yes, before the Jasper, the only game I can remember asking every time was The Orange Box.

I will test all my games, but so far it seems to always ask.

I'll do some more testing tonight but I've been playing Dead Space and Silent Hill HomeComing and both only ask me for a save location the first time I played them, after that I've not been asked again. The same with the two Xbox Arcade games I have, weird.

I've tried my 14 Arcade games, only Hexic & Braid don't ask.

There's something weird, Race Pro has a storage device option, but it makes no difference, after the title screen it asks for a device.

Just to compare notes, these are all my 360 games, can you test some?

Crackdown, Guitar Hero II, Dead or Alive Xtreme 2, Gears of War, Gears of War 2, Halo 3, Halo Wars, Lost Planet, PGR 3, PGR 4, Race Pro, Ridge Racer 6, The Orange Box, Top Spin 2, Virtua Fighter 5, Virtua Tennis 3

Arcade:

Banjo Kazooie, Braid, Castlevania SOTN, Doom, Every Extend EE, Exit, Exit 2, Hexic, Ikaruga, Lumines, Meteos Wars, Portal Still Alive, Rez, Soul Calibur

I might have misunderstood what you meant. I've tried my games again and each time I load them up they ask for a save location but after that I'm not asked again while playing. Next time I load them up it asks again for the save location, is that what you mean?

If so I don't find it much of a big deal.

Yes, sorry I did mean the next time it was loaded, didn't make that clear.

amorenod, I will try the games I have on your list when I get time.

Ok have tested with my Jasper Pro and here are the results -

Crackdown, Gears of War 1 & 2, Halo 3, Halo Wars and Hexic do not ask for a storage device.

Lost Planet, Orange Box, E4, Portal: Still Alive and Rez ask every time for you to select a storage device.

Crackdown and Halo 3 ask for a device after every boot in my Jasper Arcade.

Sound like it acts just like a memory unit you can't unplug then.

I have a 512mb mem unit on order and will test those two with it plugged in.

360 Resi Evil is Jasper

Picked up the 360 Elite ResEvil today and can confirm that it is a Jasper with a 150W power supply.

Edit: more thoughts on it later - but colour is OK. Not tacky. Controller looks good though. This is my 1st 360...
