    New 360 HDD

OK, so my Premium has started cutting out sound when watching a DVD and is extremely loud. I'd I want to use my new PAL AArcade system with the 60GB HDD I bought today.

Do I need a transfer cable for this or can I just transfer the license to the new console & HDD and download again?

You can use a transfer kit but make sure you get one that supports the 60gb as not all do.
There is an FAQ for license transfer - http://www.xbox.com/en-GB/support/fa...setransfer.htm
You can also transfer your saves using a 360 memory card.

Is there anything wrong with the existing HDD or just the console?

You could have ripped the HDD out of the old console and put it in the new, but I assume that the Premium only has a 20GB? You'll need the transfer kit to put everything from one HDD to another. You can just recover your gamer tag on the new console if you don't mind losing all your game saves etc unless you back them up to a memory card.

My brother is after a cheap 360 so I'll sell him my Premium. Plus the new one I have is quieter.

As for HDD space, I just wanted a bigger HDD to install stuff to.

I've just read that license trnafer can be done but I'd need to download everything again. No real biggie for me.

Plus all my saves are on the memory card apart from games with lots of DLC.
