Drivers, CMOS check sum & time FAIL!

Ok desktop recently died, and i had to wipe and start again, but unfortunately i cannot find the drivers for my sound card '"pc line pcl sc-5100" had a brief look on the internet & nothing?
    Anyone able to help?

Also when re formating it all went well, however when I start up now I get a CMOS check sum error whatever that means and have to press F! to continue and then all seems fine? Oh and the windows XP clock never remembers the time or year so I have to reset it each time....

You need a new BIOS battery, a fiver in town, or on ebay, its a CR2032 watch battery.

its a pc line PCI sc-5100, I'll have a check for some drivers.

Replace the motherboard battery and your pc will remember the time again , and BIOS settings

(once you actually set them in the bios)

Probably the same soundcard model/vendor, just branded differently. If it's wrong then it won't install anyway.
