    SFIV Fight Pad Issues..

got 2 ps3 fightpads.. both working fine yesterday..

just fired em up today and only get one of them to connect.. one dongle doesn't seem to want to connect.. yet I can get each pad to seperately connect to the other dongle...

    think it needs returning?

contacted Madcatz regarding this.. waiting on a reply from them... hopefully they'll just exchange my dongle as the pad is fine..

nobody else had any issues connecting 2 pads up?

I'm sure I saw a post from John Parry in one of the SF4 threads with exactly the same problem. Wonder if they're getting confuzzled over what dongle they should be pairing with?

IIRC multiple sites like Kotaku and Joystiq, including dedicated fighter sites are reporting problems with Mad Catz pads...I think you won't get a reply soon, except "we're looking at the problem"

they should just exchange the dongle.. its no hassle though my wife and 3 year old son are no match for me..

still annoying though... any as expected I have had no reply.. they said i'd receive a reply either yesterday or this morning.. hey ho...

Dude do you have their phone number? I've got 2 numbers and 2 email addresses for them. I've been dealing with them quite alot for the past few days.. Getting my dodgy TE stick replaced. (YES they have replacements as back up it would seem!!)

best bet is to email, cuz when I phoned they just told me to email them them about it, took them a few days to reply but they did and they gave me a RMA no. which I had to quote in my covering letter, I also had to supply a copy of my proof of purchase [amazon invoice]

                  email is: [email protected]

good luck dude... I hope they just send me a replacement rather than fixing it.. i tried it again this morning before I bagged it all up and sent it and it had devloped further fault, only up and down was recognised by the d-pad.. wouldn't mind only played a short time with the chun-li pad, must have been a duffer!!

Ah, so you got it from Amazon then. See I got my TE stick from MadCatz themselves. They've been pretty helpful to be fair. The girl that is dealing with it for me, has been emailing me and phoning me back without fail. If I need to speak with them, I just call up and ask for her, or she calls me back.

They're coming out with the actual replacement on the same day they're taking back my damaged one, no questions asked. Must be my sexy voice
