I am looking to find cheap hotels/motels in america and was wondering if anyone knew of cheap websites to look at for booking. I am not using a car so out of town places are inaccessible to me.

The only site I have used in this instance is www.travelworm.com
They can be stupidly cheap but only do certain cities in the USA. You might be lucky and find a hotel where you are going. No problems when I used them to book hotels in Las Vegas and New York last year.
