Nes emu on the psp slim?

As per the title, anyone know of a working emulator for the slim? I've tried NesterJ and FCEultra but they just give me an error message 8002014c..

    I'm on 3.71 m33 (v1 i think..)

Just fancied playing through megamans (1-9) on the train!

    Any help much appreciated.

do you have the 1.5 kernel added on to the 3.71 as it wont work without the kernel, i found that out trying to make snes 9x work

No idea about the kernel, I just got a mate of mine to downgrade my psp.

However, snes9x works fine.. as does gPsp and picodrive..

      Am I missing something?

I don't think the 1.5 kernel stuff works on the slim models, does it?

not sure mate dont know too much about it only really knew how to keep my original fat one maintained, he could try putting on the latest m5.00 as it may be a compatability issue which can happen with a couple of the older ps1 titles

This is correct, in fact current versions of CFW don't include 1.5 functionality, a patch is available for fats only.

So is it a possibility that, I would need a phat psp to be able to use a working nes emulator??

That would seem a bit odd..

No, perhaps there're newer Nes emulators not tied to the 1.50 Kernel, but I don't know, mine's a fat.

Ive got a nes emu - the nester one working on my psp slim, I needed to upgrade the firmware to the latest version, to get all the emus that I have to function properly, up till the kept getting the same error message mentiioned above on some of the emus.
