Using Ps1/2 sticks on Ps3 with adapter to play Ps2 games!

Bit of a lengthy title, but have got a few different sticks/old pads for the Ps2 1/2 and have an adapter to use on my 60gb BC Ps3.
When running Ps3 or indeed Ps1 software the sticks/pads are fine and function as normal. When switching to a Ps2 game (as I'm sre many of you are aware) the Ps3 requires you to reboot the pad,or rather activate it by pressing the psbutton again.
Fairly obviously with the older controllers and adapter there is no Psbutton, so I wondered if there is a way around this that doesn't involve me buying a new Ps3 stick just to play Alpha anthology properly? Didn't know if any sort of adapter existed with a bult-in psbutton??

There is a few, the one i use has a home button, an inpin converter. Tricky to get hold of but they are top notch and lag free. Got mine from Korea, but theres a guy on the shoryuken forums who can get them if you sign up and pm him.
