    sony triniton falt screen 21"crt

Are these any good? The reason i ask is that my current lcd setup is dreaduful for ps2 games and the local rspca shop has one in good nick with remote and manuals for ?10.

I simply want it for ps2 gaming via scart. Will it look any good?

    cheers

It will be lovely. Sony trintron CRT's are great for gaming.

Even f the set is on the way out (degauss circuit knackered, dodgy powersupply, etc) ?10 is not too bad a loss.

lol i stood there for ten minutes yesterday staring at it trying to decide. Surrounded by old people that you find inhabiting charity shops

I even tried to suggest to the assistent if they'd swap it for 2 15" crts i have at home. One even has a vhs BUILT IN! Alas it was to avail as apparently theyre not accepting crts in general now cos no one will buy them.

I still may go down there today and see if its there but i spent the tenner already on Persona 4 from play.com's sale

Personally, the picture from my 21" WEGA from 7/8 years ago is better than it should - the best for gaming I have ever used actually. It has the feel of an arcade screen - chunky, sharp and bright. I love it - £10 is a steal.

Oh yeah I remember those, I have a 20" version which has a subwoofer built in, plus it has RGB centering. AFAIK Sony were the only ones to make Widescreen TV's this small

I have a Trinitron 21 inch in England and always though PS2, GC and X-Box games looked awesome on it. Might as well go for it by all accounts some PS2 games etc don`t look so good on HD stuff plus scart is awesome. Get yourself one of these and a HD monitor with built in stereo sound for about 200 pound add speakers/decent head phones in life is peachy

I have the 14" model, which I purchased a few years ago to play PS2 in my bedroom. The picture quality is great.
