Well that's interesting because I only ever saw the BBA in the UK (in Game) for about 2 days around the time PSO came out here.

I ended up buying one for $40 from Toys R Us in the US when I visited in May, they had a few left that looked like they hadn't been touched in weeks

Knowing how hard it is to find in general over here, perhaps I should have bought a few more. Likewise with the Wavebird, more room in my luggage and I could have brough more back than the two I got at ?18 each

I've seen them in:

Gamestation - Portsmouth (?29.99)
Game - Fareham (?34.99)
Virgin Megastore - Near the Trocadero in London (?34.99)
HMV - Isle of Wight (?34.99)

Game told me than can order one in if you ask and Gamestation said they might be getting more in stock. Could be worth looking in those stores if you have any near you and asking if they can order them in if there aren't any on the shelves.
