I've been using AOL since 2004, and it's frequently been slow, irritating, but also an easy pleasure to use (when it hasn't been slow, or crashed).
Recently, I decided to use MSN Explorer instead, and I've had 90% less slowdown/disconnection problems. BUT, I have this horrible bar on the left hand side of my screen that is about 2 inches thick (on a 14/15 inch monitor) and it is irritating the life out of me. It's got all these 'Mys' - "My City", "My Calendar", "My Stocks", all vertically descending, compressing my screen like faux TATE.
Can I get rid of that f*cking lefthand side border and just get a full-screen display, like AOL gave me???
