    CD64 help!

Bought a CD64 the other day, and it arrived today. Unfortunately I can't get it to boot.

I'm using Mario 64 to get it to boot, so that should work fine. I'm using a 9v 1.1amp Megadrive as a PSU so that shouldn't affect it. I've tried pushing it down as hard as I can but that's not helping.

I opened it up and checked the CD was plugged in correctly and it was. I've also took the RAM out and that works fine. I've seen the CD64 menu a couple of times but it supposedly loaded the game successfully but it didn't work when I tried to load it.

Basically, when I turn it on the CD64 CD Drive seems to be alive (I can eject) but nothing appears on the screen. The N64 is definately working as Mario 64 (my boot cart) works fine on it when not connected to the CD64.

I've cleaned the contacts on the boot cart, the N64, the cart connector and the CD64. Any other advice of what I should do? I'm running out of ideas

Working now. I had to take the feet off my N64 so it'd connect properly. The memory seems to be corrupt - I need a 32meg 72-pin EDO SIMM to replace it.
