    Thermal Printers.

Didn't really know where to post this but the pc section seemed most appropriate. Bit of an odd question for anyone who can answer.

Ive got a Direct Thermal Printing machine in my factory which i use for printing my product labels for packaging etc, its and old Herbert Digi DP-121, which must be coming on 17-19 years old now.

Cut a long story short im after an inexpensive thermal printing machine that can handle custom labels and is easy to use.
I would just use a dymo or brother machine however the poxy things use a propriety label that is coded on the back for the machine to read and has a patent on it, as such you can only get the official labels for them.

If anyone is in the printing industry and knows of any such machines on the market at the mo please let me know.

I think many thermal receipt printers can be loaded with labels
      epson do a couple

the TM-T70 series and the TM-T88IV can both accept labels.
