Great Windows XP thingy to download

Get a Windows 2006 feature today!

Microsoft are puttng this in the next version of Windows, but you don't need to wait 'til then.

It's fully customisable and it can help make your desktop, Start Menu and quick launch completely obsolete in one fell swoop.

i downloaded it and i have to say it is great. Everything you need all in the one thingmajig. Only problem is it shifts all my folders over a couple of rows and squashes the IE page. Meh.

            It's great.
Now if only someone would write some software to replace the start bar with the OSX Dock...

I like it. Not perfect yet, but it still has plenty of functionality to it. I'll be curious to see what comes next.

There is a PC osx dock, I forget its name.

cba with this thing, too much of the screen is taken up.

                      I like this.

It sits nicely on the right-hand side of the screen.

                      Unobtrusive. Useful.

I've remove my taskbar in place of this but the only problem is I can't find a way to get my system tray on it.

Can somebody please tell an old-skool Win2k user what it is?

                            I'll explain with a diagram

Basically, you can stick various Windows functions onto a bar that can sit on the left or right of your screen. As you can see, I can easily access all of my programs, use a command line instruction, monitor my system, shutdown, control Winamp, receive an internet news feed and tell the time. You can add and remove panes to your own personal preference.

Under properties, Go into General and select "Notification Area" and click add. I'm assuming this is what you are after.
