    PS3 Video interference 720P problem

    Hi

Ive just got my brand new 80gb PS3 and ive just set it up , everything was going great but ive noticed a strange problem , when ever i select 720P im getting some video interference which consists of faint dark scrolling lines which either go horizontally or diagonally across the screen i most notice it in the XMB screen , strangly when i selet 576P or 1080I i dont get it but i really want to use 720P so im a little stressed.

Im using IXSO component cable and my screen is a panny TH42PWD7 plasma

    Any suggestions would be great

    Thanks

Have you the option of trying an HDMI cable?

Thats a shame, you mean you don't have a cable or the Plasma itself doesn't have an input?

the plasma itself dosnt have an input , i also have a DVDO HD+ which ive tried hooking up via DVI and outputing via VGA but i get no picture , probably due to a HCDP problem
